Before and after the tour, we will provide dinner and lunch at the buffet restaurant inside the Senri Hankyu Hotel. transporting trains to the 1970 Osaka Expo (Japan World Exposition) and to play a role in transport connecting Senri New Town and central Osaka. On March 23, 2024, the line was extended 2.5km north from the terminal station, Senri-Chuo Station, and operations began at Minoh Kayano Station and Minoh Senba Handaimae Station. The Expo, which was the occasion for the company’s opening, will be held in Osaka again in April this year, 55 years later.To commemorate the 55th anniversary of the company’s opening, and to boost the momentum of the Osaka/Kansai Expo, starting in October 2024, we are developing a special project entitled the “Hokukyu Time Trip Project,” which is a nod to the 1970 Osaka Expo. This collaboration plan “Midnight Tunnel Tour” is one of the special projects of this project. With the “Midnight Tunnel Tour,” we hope you will enjoy the thrill of stepping into a tunnel that is normally not accessible from the quiet Senri-Chuo Station, where there are no trains or customers after the last train. It became a lively resort hotel with 128 gently curved guest rooms, a grill/bar, a coffee shop, and a pool. In 1976, more banquet halls were added and a banquet hall with a garden in each venue was created with the concept of “a wedding hall with a view of greenery.” Since then, we have built two independent chapels, which are rare for a hotel, and have seen many couples celebrate their wedding day. In 1984, a new wing (currently the west wing) was added, increasing the number of guest rooms to 203. It is a place where you can experience rich nature in a city that continues to develop and evolve, and is loved by local residents and is celebrating its 55th anniversary.
