Raw Travel Salad” tie-up project 2nd edition ~ Trapics 35th Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival [Held in Sapporo] Shuwa Katsumata and Yuria Eda talk show & overseas travel information session December 19, 2024 (Thursday) at Kanamoto Hall (Sapporo Civic Hall) Hankyu Travel Co., Ltd. (Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka, President and CEO: Atsushi Sakai) will hold 12 talk shows and overseas travel information sessions tied up with travel information programs as part of the 35th anniversary commemorative event for its core travel brand “Trapics.” It will be held on Thursday, March 19th at Kanamoto Hall (Sapporo Civic Hall) in Sapporo City. Although overseas travel continues to be affected by the weak yen, there are positive signs of market recovery, such as the reduction in fuel surcharges from December to January. This event is a joint effort between the travel information variety show “Morning! Raw Travel Salad” (every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. on ABC/TV Asahi network nationwide) and the Hankyu Travel Agency Sapporo Branch to provide Hokkaido residents with information on overseas travel. In this project, we will provide detailed information about travel products and local information starting next spring. At the event, we will invite Shuwa Katsumata, who is the main cast of the program, and Yuria Eda, a reporter, to give a talk show on the theme of “travel”, as well as talk about popular travel destinations from spring to summer 2025. We will hold a travel information session. While showing the original video on a large screen, we will introduce key points of the tour, including the latest information on Taiwan, South Korea, as well as Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Romantic Road, and France. Individual consultation sessions will also be held at the venue with experienced tour operators and our staff. Hankyu Travel Company Sapporo Branch was opened on February 6, 1962, and thanks to you, we have celebrated our 62nd anniversary. In addition to departing from and arriving at Sapporo, we also offer organized tours from all over Hokkaido, including Hakodate, Obihiro, Asahikawa, Memanbetsu, and Kushiro, and we have a wide range of travel products available.
