The transaction was arranged by BNP Paribas and supported by Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), with Balthazar insurance-guaranteed financing for the procurement of one Airbus A350 aircraft and UK financing for the procurement of two Rolls-Royce engines. We utilized Export Finance Guarantee (UKEF). Japanese yen-denominated transactions worth a total of $235 million were recently recognized as “Leveraged Loan Transaction of the Year.”  Commenting on receiving the award, Murat Šeker, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, said: “We are very pleased to have achieved this exemplary financing transaction with our business partners and to have been recognized with such a prestigious award.
