(Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Kono Takateru (hereinafter referred to as TKP) has acquired three properties owned by the APA Group: APA Hotel (Miyazaki Nobeoka Ekimae), APA Hotel (Miyazaki Nobeoka Chuo), and APA Hotel (Yamaguchi Hofu). The hotel will begin operations on June 20, 2025 under a franchise agreement with Le Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Fumiko Motoya, hereinafter referred to as APA Hotel). TKP has been operating hybrid hotels that combine meetings and lodging, starting with APA Hotel Sapporo Ekimae, which opened in August 2014. We have strengthened our cooperation with APA Hotels in various ways, such as hotel management through a franchise system and TKP operating banquet halls within APA Hotels. TKP currently operates 16 APA hotels, including new construction, rebranding, and acquisition of existing hotels. With the addition of three new buildings, the total number of buildings nationwide is 20 (with one building under construction). This acquisition is for TKP to acquire an existing APA hotel store as part of its store opening strategy, making it possible to start operations smoothly while reducing initial investment. Additionally, customers will enjoy the peace of mind and convenience of continuing to use the APA Hotel brand. TKP is accelerating store openings with the aim of further expanding its ever-growing hotel and lodging training business, and is expanding its business at a pace that exceeds the goal of “opening 10 facilities in three years” set in the medium-term management plan announced in April 2023. With the opening of this hotel, TKP’s APA hotel franchise business will now have a total of 20 buildings and 3,583 rooms, including facilities that have not yet opened, and TKP will now operate 34 buildings (33 facilities) and 4,428 rooms nationwide, including facilities that have not yet opened.
