To ensure that the trees bloom beautifully every year, many people have worked hard to create this landscape, including removing weeds and installing frost sheets. Raised with love for about 5 months Preparations for nemophila to bloom in spring began last fall in November. In November, a total of 80 people manually sowed 130 liters of seeds, each about 1 mm in diameter, on the vast Miharashi Hill for about two weeks. In December, after 10 days to two weeks had passed and germination was confirmed, a “frost sheet” was installed to protect the plants from the low temperatures of winter until the roots had firmly established themselves. After removing the sheets, weeding is carried out to maintain the landscape, even now that the blooming season has reached its peak, to ensure that the growth of nemophila does not outpace the growth of weeds.
