This opportunity to experience a sky full of stars under the clear skies unique to a golf course with little light pollution is sure to be a moment to reconsider the appeal of a region that lives in harmony with nature. Taking advantage of the tranquility of the night, which has a completely different look from golf play during the day, we have planned a stargazing event as a new attempt to view the starry sky as a “local natural resource.” On the day of the event, we will provide navigation by a starry sky interpreter and observation experiences using an astronomical telescope. We will provide participants with the opportunity to experience the richness of the natural environment and the charm of the local area through the night sky. Stargazing events are also positioned as part of ecotourism that takes advantage of the charm of nature. The night sky, which is unique to this region with little light pollution, is not something you take for granted when you look up, but is actually a natural resource that is being lost in urban areas every year. We believe that protecting and enjoying the night sky will help pass on the richness of nature to the next generation.
