We have recently started selling a new sweets plan “Grand Chariot Plate” with the motif of the Big Dipper, which symbolizes the store’s name. Grand Chariot is a French word meaning “Big Dipper”. In this plan, seven unique sweets are represented on the plate as each star of the Big Dipper. With our new plan, you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a special tea or coffee. The Sapporo Grand Hotel was founded in 1934 as a reception room for political and business circles and a social gathering place for citizens under the initiative of the late Prince Chichibu.As Hokkaido’s first full-fledged Western-style hotel, it has played the role of a window into Western culture.
