[Saitama Tourism International Association] From 3/21 to 3/23, we will hold Omiya Station BONSAI Marche! to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of Omiya Bonsai Village and the 140th anniversary of the opening of Omiya Station! ​
Saitama Tourism International Association Press release: March 14, 2025 “Omiya Station BONSAI Marche!” will be held from 3/21 to 3/23 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of Omiya Bonsai Village and the 140th anniversary of the opening of Omiya Station! To commemorate Omiya Bonsai Village, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year, and Omiya Station’s 140th anniversary, we will co-host with the Omiya Bonsai Cooperative Association and hold “Omiya Station BONSAI Marche!” from March 21st (Friday) to March 23rd (Sunday) at the east-west connecting passageway of JR Omiya Station. We will be selling bonsai inside Omiya Station, and we will be delivering the charm of Omiya’s bonsai and railways, which Saitama City is proud of, to people of all generations who come and go!

Others As part of our association’s Omiya Bonsai Village 100th anniversary commemorative project, we will be holding a seminar on March 24th (Monday). On the day of the event, we will welcome Mr. Kenta Hirota, the owner of Fujijuen from Omiya Bonsai Village, who will give a lecture on the theme of “Towards the next 100 years.” In addition, in the second half, we will have Mr. Linshi, a small and medium-sized business consultant, talk about DX examples for small and medium-sized enterprises.
