Resort Trust Co., Ltd. Press release: November 21, 2024 Resort Trust revitalizes human resource development by holding restaurant service competition – Initiatives to realize human capital management – Resort Trust Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, President and CEO: Yuki Fushimi) held the final selection meeting (final) for the “6th Resort Trust Restaurant Service Competition” on November 11, 2024. This competition was held for the first time in seven years, with the cooperation of the Japan Hotel and Restaurant Service Skills Association, for restaurant service staff. The purpose of this event is to improve employee skills and motivation and improve customer satisfaction. This time, the final selection event was live-streamed to each of our hotels over the internet. It was an opportunity for many staff working in the service department to watch, cheer, and be inspired by their sophisticated service techniques. A total of 85 people applied for the 6th Resort Trust Restaurant Service Competition in the beginner category (27 years old and under) and the professional category (28 years old and above). After a written test (first round) and a practical test (semi-final), one grand prize winner from each category was selected at the final round. Through the competition, service staff will be able to objectively evaluate their own skills and set future growth goals, and will be able to further expand their work horizons and approach their work from a new perspective.
