Hida Craft is the first liqueur specialty manufacturing company in the Hida region, and we value connections with people and create handmade products that take time and effort. Staff members who work as bartenders at Sanctuary Court Takayama also participate in product development, and manufacturing takes full advantage of the respective technologies and abilities of Hida Craft and our company. [Hotel staff worked together with local residents to prepare lemons] In January 2025, four Sanctuary Court Takayama staff members worked with local residents to prepare lemons at the Hida Craft factory. The lemon liqueur produced by Hida Craft is all done by hand, including peeling, cutting, and squeezing the juice from the lemons. Manufacturing operations are only carried out during the winter season, when domestic lemons are in season. During this time’s preparation work, we worked on the process from peeling the fruit to squeezing the juice, deepening our understanding of the product. Staff members who actually participated in the work commented, “I was reminded once again of the high quality and taste of Hida Craft’s lemon liqueur.”
