Sustainable learning and first experience in Karuizawa! Holding a Golden Week event to deepen family bonds [Period] April 25, 2025 (Friday) – May 6, 2025 (Tuesday, Shinkyu) Prince Grand Resort Karuizawa (Location: Karuizawa Town, Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture General Manager: Yuko Kageyama) Based on the concept of “Forest Sensory Experience,” we will be holding a Golden Week event from Friday, April 25, 2025 to Tuesday, May 6, 2025, where parents and children can learn together, feel growth, and deepen family bonds through contact with Karuizawa’s rich nature and eco-friendly, sustainable experiences for families. During the Golden Week period, Prince Grand Resort Karuizawa offers a variety of events where you can freely gather, interact, learn, and experience both indoors and outdoors. From the perspective of environmental protection and resource reuse, we will be holding an exhibition of SDG photo spots made by dyeing and reusing discarded sheets used in the hotel, as well as workshops using fallen trees on the hotel grounds, etc., as a place to learn through sustainable experiences. We also hold events to help children get their first experience, such as a work experience at a hotel where children are the main actors, a “Parent-Child Bicycle Challenge” and a “Snow Play Experience” where children try their hand at riding a bicycle for the first time in the rich natural surroundings of Karuizawa.
