The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is also aiming to raise the cashless payment ratio to 80%, the highest level in the world, in the future, and in this context, Pocket Change will sponsor the electronic money charging machine at the Expo venue. At Pocket Change, you can exchange foreign coins and banknotes in 10 currencies, including US dollars and euros, for electronic money such as transportation IC cards such as Suica, Rakuten Edy, WAON, nanaco, and au PAY gift cards, which can be used at the venue (*1).
Additionally, the service is available in 5 languages: Japanese, English, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, and Korean (4 of which are audio guides), making it easy for foreign visitors to Japan to use.
