On Saturday, March 15, 2025, it will open a new French restaurant in its main area, the “Europe Area,” as well as open a store exclusively for traditional costume experiences, the museum’s first. Additionally, the German merchandise store will be completely renovated for the first time in 32 years and will be renovated as a souvenir shop stocked with food and miscellaneous goods from all over Europe. In addition, the outdoor exhibition house will be decorated and photo spots will be set up to transform the area into an area where you can “feel and enjoy Europe even more” than ever before. 1. The exterior of the store is modeled after the traditional wooden architecture (colombage) of the Alsace region of France, which can also be seen in the adjacent exhibition house, and together with the exhibition house, it creates the atmosphere of an Alsatian townscape.
