Odakyu Hakone Co., Ltd. Press release: March 14, 2025 “110th Anniversary Campaign Final” Delivering “Spring” at Hakone Gora Park ~Spring monument exhibition and popular park tour held~ Hakone Gora Park, operated by Odakyu Hakone Co., Ltd.
(Headquarters: Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Hidehiro Mizukami), celebrated its 110th anniversary in August last year with the support of many customers and local residents. This spring, the last of the year’s gratitude project, we will bring you the “spring” of Gora Park with events related to cherry blossoms and roses. As a symbol, a “Spring Monument” approximately 2m high will be exhibited at the event hall. As you pass through the forest tunnel, you will come across a spring-like cherry blossom monument made of spun driftwood and decorated with cherry blossoms. In addition, we will be holding the “Full Understanding! Hakone Gora Park Guided Tour 2025 Spring”, where Gora Park staff will guide you through the park’s 110-year history and seasonal highlights, for a limited time of 3 days from March 28th to 30th. We will explain the charms of Gora Park in an easy-to-understand manner, such as the plants that give you a sense of spring and the tea room that is a registered tangible cultural property. Guided tours are held once each day. The participation fee is 300 yen, and up to 10 people can participate each time. In addition, at the sandwich restaurant “Isshikido Sarou” in the park, we will be serving “Spring Afternoon Tea~a treat for myself~” created in conjunction with the ongoing Hakone Sweets Collection 2025, as well as a selection of brightly colored spring-only sweets related to cherry blossoms and cherry blossom viewing. In addition to this, as a spring event, we plan to hold the “Spring Rose Garden Concert,” which was popular last year, to coincide with the blooming of spring roses. The outline of Gora Park 110th Anniversary Final – Delivering Gora Park’s “Spring” is as follows.
