(Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, President: Tatsuya Toyofuku) will open “Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Fukuoka Airport (tentative name)” on the east side of the Fukuoka Airport domestic terminal in the summer of 2027. This is our group’s first development of a hotel directly connected to an airport. This hotel will be leased and opened on the 5th to 11th floors of a complex facility that Fukuoka International Airport Co., Ltd. (Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, CEO: Shinji Tagawa) is planning to open in the domestic flight area of ​​Fukuoka Airport. This is the second “SOLARIA” brand store in the Fukuoka area, following the “Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Fukuoka” currently operating in Fukuoka City. Our hotel is directly connected to Fukuoka Airport, which is the gateway to Asia and boasts convenient access to central Fukuoka such as Tenjin and Hakata in 5 to 11 minutes by subway. The number of overnight guests in Fukuoka City is increasing year by year, and is expected to reach a record high in 2024. The number of passengers and the number of flights arriving and departing from Fukuoka Airport, which is highly convenient as a hub for tourism and global business, is increasing, and further expansion is expected with the opening of the second runway in March of this year.By opening this hotel, we aim to capture accommodation demand from business travelers on early morning flights and tourists from Japan and abroad. The hotel, which consists of 7 floors, has a total of 165 rooms in 7 types that can accommodate a variety of needs, including doubles, twins, and large groups. Guest rooms on the upper floors overlook the runway and planes, giving you a unique view of the airport. We also have a large public bath, sauna, and fitness facility on the 5th floor to support your comfortable stay. Taking advantage of the location, which is directly connected to the bus terminal and subway station, you can move smoothly as a base for sightseeing or business. Our hotel group currently operates 18 hotels in Japan and 5 hotels overseas, and we aim to expand our revenue base and improve the value of the Nishitetsu brand by continuing to open hotels in areas with high demand for business and tourism both domestically and overseas.
