partner/spouse” to the question “If you were to go glamping, who would you go with?” (Q2). This result shows that many people choose glamping as a place to spend special time with their important partners. When broken down by age group, the highest percentage was in the 30s (29.6%), followed by the 40s (26.0%) and those in their 20s or younger (18.9%). Of particular note is that young to middle-aged people in their 20s to 40s accounted for approximately 74.5% of the total. This generation tends to value relief from the busyness of everyday life and sharing special experiences, and glamping is thought to match their needs. In the free-response section, many people said that the ideal facility would be one that is a reasonable distance from other guests and allows them to immerse themselves in a world of their own.
