The summer lobby exhibition “Dance of Nishiki Fish 2025” has begun! This year marks the 11th year of the “Dance of Nishikigyo.” Rare goldfish, including ranchu, black Demekin, blue-and-white goldfish, and brown goldfish, swim gracefully. Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel (Nakamura-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, General Manager) Atsushi Sugimoto) The summer tradition of “Nishikigyo no Mai” (Dance of the Brocaded Fish) will be held in the 15th floor main lobby for approximately one month, from Tuesday, July 29, 2025, to Monday, September 1, 2025.

Wood from forest thinnings is used for the decorative pillars and ceiling. Driftwood art covered in moss and ferns is hung from the ceiling, creating a fantastical forest reminiscent of an “air bonsai.” Approximately 200 goldfish of 25 different species and 12 varieties swim in a huge aquarium measuring up to 240cm wide, including rare species such as Ranchu bred in Yatomi. You can feel the coolness as you watch rare goldfish swimming gracefully, including Ranchu, Red-crowned Crane, Dutch Lionhead, Edo Nishiki, as well as Kuro Demekin, Aobunyo, and Chakin, whose production has drastically decreased in recent years.
