The Sumida River Fireworks Festival, held on July 26th, is the largest fireworks festival in Tokyo, which has been held since the Edo period. On this viewing cruise, you will charter a houseboat and enjoy the fireworks from the surface of the Sumida River. Meitetsu Kanko Service Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Michio Iwakiri, hereinafter referred to as Meitetsu Kanko) will be running a tour to watch the Sumida River Fireworks Festival, which will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from a chartered houseboat.

However, on this tour planned and implemented by Meitetsu Kanko, Meitetsu Kanko Service will charter an air-conditioned houseboat and you will watch the fireworks from the surface of the Sumida River, so you can enjoy the fireworks without worrying about the crowds or the heat. On board, we will provide you with a Japanese banquet meal, snacks, and hors d’oeuvres. You can also enjoy all-you-can-drink beer, wine, soft drinks, etc.

You can watch the fireworks from inside the houseboat, or even from the observation deck on board. After the fireworks, the houseboat will return to the disembarkation point in Etchujima.
