We have been exhibiting wind chimes since 2023, hoping to help people stay cooler during the hot summer season. This year, the third time, we have expanded the exhibition area to two locations with the theme of “Japanese Summer Festivals,” creating a lively summer scene in the museum. Approximately 300 wind chimes are hung from the ceiling over a 15-meter section of the corridor from the main building to the south building, and goldfish, yo-yos, ground cherries, morning glories, and other summer motifs are scattered on the reeds. In addition, lanterns and masks are decorated on a wooden tower installed in the main lobby (near the world clock), creating a lively atmosphere like a festival stall.
