Accommodation and day trip plans at Lake Biwa Hotel where you can enjoy spectacular fireworks in front of your eyes from a special seat. Biwako Hotel (Location: Hamacho, Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, General Manager: Yoshikazu Maeda) will be offering accommodations and restaurants in conjunction with the “Lake Biwa Fireworks Festival” to be held on Friday, August 8, 2025. We have prepared a plan that includes return use and fireworks viewing.Advance reservations for Biwako Hotel Club members will be accepted from May 20th (Tuesday), and general reservations will be accepted from June 5th (Thursday).

Approximately 300,000 people visited last year (according to organizers), making it a once-a-year big event that not only local residents but also tourists from outside the prefecture come to enjoy. We have prepared a variety of plans this year as well so that you can enjoy the impressive display of approximately 10,000 fireworks set off Lake Biwa, right in front of the Biwako Hotel, off the coast of Otsu Port, where the fireworks will be launched. We offer accommodation plans where you can enjoy fireworks while relaxing in a guest room with a lake view, and day trip plans with a wide variety of viewing locations and meal options.
