Prefecture, General Manager: Mitsunori Sato) will open a dedicated area “Debut Park” in 2024 that will provide a wide range of support for beginners to skiing and snowboarding, from how to ride the lift to how to ski. Business will begin sequentially from December 28th (Saturday). At Debut Park, instead of riding a lift, participants take a snow escalator to the top of the slope and practice skiing or snowboarding on a gentle slope with an average slope of about 7 degrees. You can learn to ski and snowboard safely using the handrails installed within the park. In addition, you can feel free to ask questions or request lectures from the cast members in the park at any time, helping you to have an enjoyable debut on the slopes by relieving you of the anxiety that comes with first-timers. The debut parks will be set up in two locations within the ski resort: the day-use area and the west area.The day-use area will open on Saturday, December 28, 2024, and the west area debut park will open from early January 2025. We are planning to do so. Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Resort will continue to carry out various initiatives this season with the aim of becoming a snow resort where children and beginners of skiing and snowboarding can enjoy winter sports safely and
comfortably.
