This event utilizes local tourism resources to provide unprecedented special experiences and high value-added tourism content, and by utilizing the Japan Tourism Agency’s “Regional Tourism New Discovery Project”, we aim to boost the nighttime economy. We aim to extend the stay of tourists and promote demand for lodging.
Event overview Utilizing the historical buildings of Ryukuchiji Temple, special lighting will be used to create a fantastical illumination. Through this initiative, we will provide visitors with new excitement and special experiences.

By creating a nighttime economy, this initiative aims to provide tourists with an opportunity to enjoy Kamakura at night as well, contributing to alleviating daytime congestion and spreading out the length of stay for inbound tourists.
