JR East Hotels Press release: June 24, 2025 [Hotel Metropolitan] Cuisine “Est” and Dining & Bar “Auveste” to reopen with a new look on Monday, September 8, 2025 Two shops on the top floor of the hotel Hotel Metropolitan (1-6-1 Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, General Manager Shigeo Ito) will celebrate its 40th anniversary on June 2, 2025. To mark its 40th anniversary, the hotel has set the theme of “Next Evolution,” and will be renovating two restaurants on the hotel’s top floor, the 25th floor, from Friday, August 1, 2025. We will reopen two new restaurants, Cuisine “Est,” which offers a panoramic view from 100 meters above ground and serves sophisticated dishes with a sprinkling of French techniques in authentic Italian cuisine, and Dining & Bar “Ovest,” where you can enjoy drinks and a variety of a la carte dishes in a casual
atmosphere. We will welcome you as a restaurant that will be even more satisfying than before, so please look forward to both restaurants after the renovation.
