JAL Press release: March 13, 2025 JAL opens immersive theater “Sora Cruise” at Osaka/Kansai Expo ~Experience the world of next-generation mobility envisioned by JAL and the skies of the future in an immersive theater~ March 13, 2025 JAL will co-sponsor the “Smart Mobility Expo – Flying Cars” at the 2025 Japan World Expo (Osaka/Kansai Expo) to be held from April 13, 2025, and will set up and open to the public the immersive theater “SoraCruise by Japan Airlines” (hereinafter “SoraCruise”) within the exhibition facility “Flying Car Station.”

We have introduced an immersive solution (*1) provided by Sony PCL Corporation to provide a realistic experience as if you were riding in a flying car. With “Sora Cruise”, you can enjoy a flight experience over Osaka and various other places. We invite you to the future of air travel against the backdrop of JAL’s history of challenging air mobility since 1951. In addition to the main theater show, there is also a digital drawing experience of a flying car, which can be enjoyed by both children and adults. JAL will take on the challenge of creating new mobility value using
next-generation mobility, and aim to create a future where people and goods can move freely and lively, an exciting society.
