Iruma City Press release: July 24, 2025 To members of the press Iruma City Station Front Creation Project “Iruma City Station Front Yokocho Summer 2025” to be held! ～ The area in front of the station will be enveloped in the heat of summer, aiming to create excitement and revitalize the local area! ～ Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture, is relaunching the summer festival “Iruma City Ekimae Yokocho,” which was a huge success last year, with a new look as “Iruma City Ekimae Yokocho Summer It will be held for two days, on Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1, 2025, at the rotary at the south exit of Iruma City Station. (The event will be canceled in the event of bad weather or a special heatstroke alert. In October of the same year, the city enacted the nation’s first “Delicious Sayama Tea Love Ordinance” to pass on the charm of Sayama tea, which is the pride of the region, to the next generation.
