The length is 72.7km. Half a century after the
commercialization of some sections in 1972, the entire line finally opened. The last remaining sections, Toyokawa Tameto IC and Gamagori IC, will be connected, creating a 100km route with no traffic lights and a grade-separated intersection, from Hamamatsu City to Naho Road and then to Nagoya City on the Meishi Bypass. Access to our hotel has become even better, allowing you to enjoy the ocean view of our hotel at the tip of the Atsumi Peninsula even more comfortably. This is a unique stamp of that castle stamped on Japanese paper, indicating that you have visited that castle. Tahara Castle 11-1 Tomoe, Tahara-cho, Tahara-shi, 441-3421 This castle was built around 1480 by the Toda clan, who once had power on the Atsumi Peninsula. Around 1550, the castle was attacked by the Imagawa clan and fell. It is currently a history museum, exhibiting valuable items such as important national cultural properties. It is now a castle ruins park with some ruins remaining.
