Kanajasui Shrine Press release: April 23, 2025 Information on the 2020 Kinjasui Shrine Flower Festival and Mitsudai Festival This year, in the “Year of Engagement”, the flower festival and Snake Festival will be held from April 25th to May 25th at Kanahebisui Shrine, located in Sanshikiyoshi, Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture.

During the period, these flowers bloom one after another, turning the grounds into a huge flower garden. Dedicatory techniques are also performed on the Kagura stage in the Gaien, mainly on weekends, and the precincts are lit up and “Evening Pilgrimage” is held.

These are part of the “Reiwa Utopia Creation Project” that has been ongoing since 2018, and is the first phase (replacement commemorative project), which includes the integrated development of “SandoTerrace”, “Kagura Stage”, and the outer garden. This second period (Misai commemorative project) included the maintenance of the “peony garden” and “purification place,” and the publication of “History of the Shrine” and “Kinja-o Yawa.” There will also be new “summer pilgrimage” and “autumn pilgrimage” events to educate and revitalize,
“entertainment” on the kagura stage, and “art” in the gallery and other places within the shrine grounds. At Gaien, we are involved in a variety of projects, including creating a variety of menus and products with various local and other companies.
