French Restaurant Le Chandor opened as a new store in November 2015 as part of the restaurant renovation project at Hotel Okura Fukuoka. The store was named d’Or Champ because of the gold-based interior reminiscent of the rich soil of Kyushu, and we have been providing modern French cuisine created with new ideas while preserving Okura’s traditional flavors, focusing on ingredients grown in this rich land. During the closure period from November 2023, we were only open during special periods such as Christmas and New Year’s holidays, but we will reopen for the first time in 1 year and 5 months with a “reservation system”. We offer three courses each for lunch and dinner as a year-round menu, and the “vegetable full course” that does not use fish or meat, which was offered as an event menu before the closure, will also be added as a standard menu. We offer our customers a special time with menus based on seasonal ingredients, mainly from Kyushu, and seasonal events.
