From June 10th to July 20th, 2025, Japan’s first glamping resort, HOSHINOYA Fuji, will begin offering “Rainy Season Glamping” where you can enjoy the rain forest using all five senses, such as sweets, cocktails, and walking. The glamping master will suggest the charm of the rain forest that can only be enjoyed during the rainy season, such as listening to the sound of rain hitting the tarp and observing raindrops falling on the various shaped leaves. Background On a rainy day, the forest is an attractive place where you can enjoy the forest with all five senses, as the leaves on the trees turn brightly colored and the scent of rainy soil smells. In particular, the sound of rain contains the “1/f fluctuation” rhythm created by nature, and is said to have a relaxing effect. We developed this project because we wanted people to have an experience that can only be enjoyed in the forest during the rainy season, such as drinking coffee while being soothed by the sound of rain in the nature of Hoshinoya Fuji Forest, and enjoying the vivid colors of nature when soaked in the rain.
