The “Kisho Town” project will be developed by HESTA Okura on approximately 150,000 square meters of land it owns in Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture, with a focus on lodging and commercial facilities, attracting nearly 1.4 million tourists annually. Taking advantage of the location’s proximity to Mt. Koya, a sacred site for Japanese Buddhism, we plan to develop a resort and leisure facility where you can fully enjoy the Japanese atmosphere. The Cantor Fitzgerald Group will utilize its network to provide investment opportunities to domestic and international financial institutions and overseas institutional investors. Koya, and is currently developing as a commuter town, taking advantage of its good
transportation access to Osaka City. The planned site for Kisho Town is also about 1 km from Hashimoto Station on the Nankai Koya Line, and close to the Hashimoto Interchange on the Keinawa Expressway. Kansai International Airport, the gateway to the skies, is also an hour’s drive away. In addition to being expected to attract inbound tourists as a “middle point” between tourist areas such as Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka and major transportation hubs, the area also has rich potential as a living area. In addition to lodging facilities, Kisho Town has opened large-scale commercial facilities and leisure facilities, and is designed to be a place of relaxation not only for tourists but also for local residents. The plan is to build a helipad and position it as a core base for disaster prevention and mitigation measures.
