Please come to Hitachiota City during Golden Week! 34th Ryujinkyo Carp Streamer Festival The Ryujin Gorge Carp Streamer Festival will be held from Saturday, April 26th to Sunday, May 11th at the Ryujin Suspension Bridge in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, which boasts one of the longest bridges in Japan. The sight of about 1,000 carp streamers swimming gracefully through Hitachiota City, decorated with bright fresh greenery, is beautiful and impressive! On May 5th, Children’s Day, children under junior high school age can cross the bridge for free.
