This project leverages the power of entertainment and digital technology to establish a new island branding based on Kuniaki Shimizu’s strong belief of “protecting and developing the future of the island.” By fusing tourism, product sales, events, and digital strategies, we aim to convey the appeal of Suo-Oshima and other islands across the country and achieve sustainable regional
revitalization. Based on Kuniaki Shimizu’s strong belief of
“protecting and developing the future of the island,” this project aims to utilize the power of entertainment and digital to establish a new island branding and achieve sustainable regional revitalization. First part: [Suo Oshima] “Suo Oshima special event” hosted by Kuniaki Shimizu will be held on April 12th! As the first step of the project, a special event will be held on April 12, 2024 on Suo-Oshima. The event name and details will be announced at a later date, but we are planning a program that will maximize the appeal of Suo-Oshima and fuse local culture, local products, and entertainment.
