Niigata Prefecture Tourism Association Press release: April 25, 2025 Do you rarely go outside of Sado Island? “Sado’s Authenticity Fair! Experience Fair” will be held at Roadside Station Agano, where you can interact with Sado producers and get a feel for the real Sado. Period: April 25th (Friday) to May 25th (Sunday), 2025 (31 days including Golden Week) ~The “real Sado” that is rarely seen outside the island is gathered here~ Sado Island’s goldmine has been registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site, and the charm of Sado is now receiving renewed attention. The “Genuine Sado! Experience Fair” will be held at Roadside Station Agano (Agano City, Niigata Prefecture), where you can experience the “current” and “real” Sado.

Approximately 130 types of products are available, and we will introduce you to the “authentic taste” of Sado that you cannot usually find. During the fair period, sales staff will carefully explain the background and details of each product. We will also provide opportunities for direct interaction with producers, and aim to create a “warm” fair where you can feel the warmth of people.

By tasting it, you can get a more realistic feel of Sado’s climate.
