This exhibition will be divided into three parts, with the themes of “Past progress,” “Currently running technology,” and “Dreams for the future,” leading from the 6000 series to the next-generation vehicles that have yet to be seen. This is an exhibition where you can experience the time Hiroshima has lived with the Astram Line through the warmth of wood. We will give a warm farewell to the past 30 years through a photo exhibition looking back on past operations and the sale of 3D wooden puzzles imitating the train. Inside the venue, we are planning to create a space where hanging straps used in the 6000 series will be placed randomly from the ceiling, making you want to look up. • “Current” Astrum line seen from the 7000 series The design and structure of the 7000 series, which will support the people of Hiroshima, will be introduced through a POP explanatory exhibit. You can see what kind of ideas and thoughts went into it, and learn about the evolution of technology and the development background. • Next-generation vehicles connecting to the future “What will the Astram Line of the future look like?” We will be holding a participatory exhibition where visiting children will be able to freely draw a diagram of a next-generation vehicle that has not yet been seen. The works will be displayed in the exhibition area, and together with visitors, they will be able to express the “future railway we envision together”. In addition, children who draw a forecast will be given a simple driving experience where they can enjoy viewing images from the driver’s seat.
