We will start selling sightseeing tours that come with admission tickets to Taiga Drama Museum from Friday, March 14, 2025. Centered around Yoshiwara, where the main character, Juzaburo Tsutaya, was born and raised, and which is also the setting of the drama, there are many places surrounding Asakusa, and it can take 3-4 hours on foot just to visit the main spots. It would be very difficult to walk around on your own while looking at a map or guidebook, but we have planned this tour so that you can easily enjoy the ride on an elegant rickshaw that runs at a comfortable speed and is guided by a veteran rickshaw driver. The tour’s guide points include Edo-Shin Yoshiwara Koshodo, a sightseeing base facility modeled after Koshodo opened by Juzaburo Tsutaya, which just opened in January, so you can fully feel the atmosphere of bygone days. You can also temporarily get off the rickshaw and purchase souvenirs.
