JR West Hotels Press release: May 14, 2025 A special lobby exhibition will be held at Hotel Granvia Wakayama where the charms of Shirahama Town, Kudoyama Town, and Takano Town will be held ~ Lots of Wakayama things! ~ Hotel Granvia Wakayama, operated by Wakayama Terminal Building Co., Ltd. (Tomoda-cho, Wakayama City, CEO: Masao Takeda), will be holding a special exhibition introducing the charms of Shirahama-cho, Koya-cho, and Kudoyama-cho in the lobby on the first floor from May 10 to June 30, 2025. commemorative photo. From Kudoyama-cho, you can feel the atmosphere of the Sengoku period by exhibiting the armor of Sanada Yukimura, a crimson samurai who was famous during the Sengoku period.
Additionally, four types of brightly colored robes from Koya Town will be on display. At this exhibition, visitors can enjoy the charm of each region through exhibits related to the history and culture of each town. This lobby exhibition was planned by the wide-area tourism council established by the three towns in January 2025 in order to deepen exchanges between the three towns of Shirahama, Kudoyama, and Koya, and to utilize the tourism resources of each town to complement each other’s regional attractions and promote tourism.This exhibition was realized with the aim of further advancing the three towns. After enjoying the exhibits, why not use the sightseeing pamphlets provided in the lobby to plan your sightseeing tour of Wakayama.
