While the expected number of visitors to the Osaka/Kansai Expo is 28.2 million, it is possible that some people have given up on going to the Expo site because they have physical disabilities that make it difficult for them to travel on their own. Therefore, in collaboration with the Osaka/Kansai Expo, LET’S EXPO will begin providing “In-Venue Support”, a transportation support service within the Osaka/Kansai Expo venue for people who have difficulty getting around on their own due to physical disabilities, visual impairments, etc., starting April 17th (Thursday). For “on-site support,” a total of 1,000 volunteer staff from all over the country will provide three types of support within the Expo venue: “Wheelchair mobility support,” “Support for the visually impaired,” and “Monitoring/attendance services.” In order to help customers move safely and smoothly through the venue, which is approximately 33 times the size of Tokyo Dome, we will provide transportation support for a total of 10,000 people during the exhibition period, including one qualified assistance staff* and one auxiliary staff who will push wheelchairs and guide visually impaired people. Additionally, for those who have not made a pavilion reservation or have not yet decided how to get around the venue, LET’S EXPO can also propose a “model course” created by LET’S EXPO. LET’S EXPO will continue to provide a variety of support so that everyone’s dreams of “wanting to go to the Expo” and “wanting to enjoy the Expo even more” come true. * Former helper level 2, nursing care beginner training and above, welfare care qualifications related to support for people with disabilities and the elderly ◆ In-venue support details Volunteer staff from all over the country will provide three types of support within the Expo venue: “Wheelchair transportation support,” “Visually impaired support,” and

We aim to create an Expo that everyone can enjoy by solving the problems of people who want to go to the Expo but are unable to do so, together with their families, nursing care, and welfare workers. First, through accessible support, we aim to allow 350,000 people, or 3% of the approximately 12 million people with physical disabilities (those who have been certified as requiring support or have a disability certificate), to enjoy the Expo in both real and virtual ways. 〇About accessible support service This service aims to lower the hurdles for participation by providing both real and virtual support for those who want to participate in the Osaka/Kansai Expo but find it difficult. At the Osaka/Kansai Expo, which will be held in Japan, which is experiencing an aging society ahead of the rest of the world, we will show the world the power of Japan’s welfare field by supporting those who would like to
participate but find it difficult.
1. “In-venue support” LET’S EXPO staff will provide push assistance to wheelchair users, helping those with physical disabilities to move around the Expo venue smoothly. 2. “Virtual experience support” For corporations, organizations, and facilities, 1. “Virtual Expo 2025” hosted by the Japan World Exposition Association, 2. LET’S In order for participants to smoothly enjoy the three experiential programs planned and implemented by EXPO, the “online tour” and the
“reminiscence experience program” to look back on the 1970 World Expo, two to three volunteer staff members will visit the designated locations in person and provide careful support (if it is difficult for volunteer staff to visit due to the area or the number of applications, we will support the event online). For individual customers, we will hold online briefing sessions and provide detailed information on specific connection methods and operations so that anyone can easily participate in the above 1. “Virtual Expo” and 2. “Online Tour.” Through this support, we aim to create an Expo that everyone can enjoy.
3. “Online tour” You can use the chat function to communicate with performers in real time, allowing you to experience the immersive Expo tour from your home or nursing home, as if you were actually there. ◯Online tour distribution date (first half of the session: April 13th to June 30th) Pavilion name:Mitsubishi Miraikan Delivery date and time:April 23rd (Wednesday) 14:00-15:00 Pavilion name:Nomo no Kuni Delivery date and time:April 30th (Wednesday) 14:00-15:00, 19:00-20:00 Pavilion name:Electricity Hall Eggs of Possibility Delivery date and time:May 9th (Friday) 14:00-15:00, 19:00-20:00 May 10th (Sat) 15:15-21:00 (Pavilion Day event live broadcast) Pavilion
