The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has set a goal of installing 300,000 EV chargers by 2030, and while there is a need to create an EV charging environment across the country, the large cost of installing charging equipment has become a major hurdle. This time, at no cost to Maniwa City, we carried out the EV charger installation work and completed the installation of a total of 12 EV chargers (10 units), 90kW output EV quick chargers and 6kW output normal chargers, in Maniwa City. EVs have a power storage function, and in the event of a disaster, EVs can serve as “running storage batteries” and deliver electricity to areas where electricity has not yet been restored.They not only serve as everyday
infrastructure for local residents and tourists who own EVs, but also play an important role in times of disaster.
