Geek Pictures Co., Ltd. Press release: November 21, 2024 Tickets for “HOKUSAI: ANOTHER STORY in TOKYO” are now on sale! A new type of immersive entertainment that allows you to experience Hokusai’s ukiyo-e with your entire body is now available in Shibuya! [Event period] February 1, 2025 (Saturday) – June 1, 2025 (Sunday) The HOKUSAI: ANOTHER STORY production committee, including Geek Pictures Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Tamotsu Osano), will produce “HOKUSAI: ANOTHER STORY in TOKYO” at Tokyu Plaza Shibuya on February 1, 2025. It has been decided that the event will be held from Saturday, June 1, 2025 to Sunday, June 1, 2025. Tickets will go on sale from Thursday, November 21st.

https://hokusai.anotherstory.world/ ■What is “Super Immersive Experience” “HOKUSAI: ANOTHER STORY in TOKYO” “HOKUSAI: ANOTHER STORY in TOKYO” is a next-generation immersive experience that combines “images, sounds, and tactile sensations” that will give you a new sensation of traveling back in time to the floating world of Edo, where Katsushika Hokusai lived. Using ultra-high-definition image data, Hokusai’s works that everyone has seen at least once are realistically reproduced in high-definition images with a sense of realism on Sony’s Crystal LED LED display. Furthermore, with Sony’s haptic display technology (haptics) that makes the floor feel as if it has turned into a puddle or a sandy beach, you can experience the scenery that Katsushika Hokusai saw and the feeling of walking in an overwhelmingly immersive way.
