The dark hall (indoors) of “Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden” will be transformed into a fantastical “healing” and “cool” space with light, sound, scent and plants. The theme is “A fairy tale forest lit by lamps.” The event will run until August 31. Trees were installed to create a space that makes you feel like you are actually in a forest. And fantastical Moroccan lamps. It is a healing space created by the sounds of nature such as birds chirping, the sound of waves at the water’s edge, and the sound of the wind that can be heard from nowhere. The Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden/Ropeway (operated by Kobe Resort Services Co., Ltd.), a resort facility located on a mountain at an altitude of 400m and offering a panoramic view of the port city of Kobe, is holding a limited-time summer event called “Healing Forest” from July 12th (Sat) to August 31st (Sun), 2025. This event was started in 2019 as a way to spend a comfortable time indoors even in the summer. The theme is “A fairy tale forest lit by lamps.” The dark hall will be decorated with “light,” “sound,” “scent,” and “plants,” and will consist of four scenes (each scene lasts 5 minutes). 1. Starry Forest In the middle of the vast universe (synthesizer, percussion) *Each scene is 5 minutes long *The sounds in parentheses are for reference As you proceed through the forest guided by the fantastically lit lamps, various “healing spaces” will appear The flickering of about 40 Moroccan lamps of different shapes and sizes. The light is like the aurora. Numerous lights that evoke the image of rippling water illuminate the trees and plants according to the scene, creating a special atmosphere in the hall.
