University’s Faculty of Sociology. Has worked in a wide range of genres, including arranging and composer for over 100 commercials, stage music for “Wahahaha Theater Company,” band leader for “Demon Kakka” solo tour, serial writer for the music magazine “Musica Nova” (Ongaku No Tomosha), and involved in the video composition for Shogakukan Illustrated Book NEO’s “Music.” In addition to being in charge of piano and arrangement for the piano and violin duo “Sugitetsu,” he won the “Shining! Saxophone: Miwa Kazuto Born in Nagoya City. Graduated from Nagoya University of Arts, Department of Instrumental Music, String, Wind and Percussion Course in 2008. Won the Best Soloist Award at the Tokai Big Band Jazz Contest while still a student. Created “Yanana”, the No. 1 mascot character in 2009. He studied classical saxophone under Takashi Mikazuki and Masato Kumoi, and jazz saxophone under Bansho Nonoda and Kenny Garrett. He is currently a saxophonist, composer and arranger. He has played in the horn section for various artists, including Eikichi Yazawa. He is the leader of the Bijou Sax Quartet. He is also known as a train enthusiast, and his repertoire includes a reproduction of the music horn of the Meitetsu Limited Express on saxophone.
