The resort hotel Kyukamura Setouchi Toyo (Location: Kawaratsu, Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, Manager: Kyoko Tsuchida), where you can see the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea’s many islands and the sacred Mt. Ishizuchi at the same time, will be holding a nighttime nature experience “Sea Firefly Luminescence Observation Event” exclusively for guests on certain days from July 19th (Sat) to August 30th (Sat). In addition, in cooperation with the local Toyo Local Museum, information sessions will be held on the evenings of July 27th (Sun) and August 15th (Fri) where visitors can learn about horseshoe crabs, known as “living fossils.” The following mornings (July 28th and August 16th), a valuable experience event will be held where visitors can actually release horseshoe crab larvae into the sea.
