Entertainment planetarium facility “Konica Minolta Planetarium YOKOHAMA” (Yokohama/Operated by Konica Minolta Planetarium Co., Ltd./CEO: Yumiko Moto) will be holding an event featuring “Kuuyan,” the official mascot of Kunigami Village, Okinawa, the setting of the planetarium production “Hoshiyui no Mori – The Starry Sky of Kunigami Village, Okinawa,” for two days only on Saturday, July 12th and Sunday, July 13th, 2025. Kunigami Village is located at the northernmost tip of Okinawa Prefecture. The forest that occupies more than 80% of the village is called the “Miracle Forest” where rare creatures live, and has been passing down this miracle for 100 million years.
