Inspired by the ancient Japanese “indigo dyeing” that has excellent deodorizing and antibacterial properties, this time we have specially collaborated with “Hanaai”, a company that cultivates and dyes in the Sadamisaki Peninsula in Ehime Prefecture. We carefully painted the domestic cypress benches with an original paint that contains this rare indigo dye. In addition, we will exhibit “Iyo Kasuri” as an indigo accent to decorate the sauna room. Iyo Kasuri is produced in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, and is one of the three major kasuri in Japan along with Kurume Kasuri and Bingo Kasuri. Its tradition and beautiful navy blue pattern give the space a rich depth and a high-quality feel. In addition, a new indoor bathing space “Hibiki no Ma” has been created in the men’s area. The completely indoor design allows you to enjoy a comfortable time of relaxation at any time, regardless of the weather or season.
