This bus runs every day, departing Kobe Port at 08:15 → connecting with the ferry “Aoi” which arrives at Sakate Port at 11:35, and departing at around 11:55 to coincide with the arrival of the ferry. It runs via “Marukane-mae” and “Shodoshima Shuzo” ​​to its final destination, “Kusakabe Port”. Capacity is up to 20 people, first come, first served. Please note that use of the bus is limited to passengers using the ferry in question. [Background and purpose of social experiment] Sakate Port is the main gateway to Shodoshima from the Kansai region, and is used by many customers throughout the year. However, transportation options after disembarking are limited, and many customers, especially those who walk, have said that they wish there were more transportation options after disembarking. Based on such customer feedback, this initiative will be conducted as a social experiment to try to improve the convenience of secondary transportation on Shodoshima.
