(headquarters: Tokyo) to install a “Hometown Tax Vending Machine (IoT Hometown Tax Vending Machine)” within the building. This is the first case of this system being introduced at a lodging facility in Niigata Prefecture.

This initiative allows guests who stay overnight or visit the town to make a donation to Yuzawa Town during their stay. In return for their donation, a “NASPA Hometown Gift Ticket” will be issued. Gift tickets can be used for a wide range of purposes, including accommodation, restaurants, the ski garden, the attraction areas “Play Garden” and “Camp Garden”. The touch panel operation makes it easy to use even for first-time users. This initiative is a regional co-creation project in collaboration between Yuzawa Town, Growkeyup Co., Ltd., and NASPA New Otani, as a new form of hometown tax payment that allows you to “contribute to the community on the spot” during your stay at the hotel.
