For a limited time each year, you can enjoy the experience of hand-picking ume such as Nanko plum and Shirakaga. The plums that can be harvested are the best varieties for making plum wine and plum juice. Please enjoy the precious nature experience only available at Kamogawa River. Period May 17th (Sat) – June 8th (Sun), 2025 Reception hours 10:00-11:30 (closed in case of rain) (Advance application is not required.) Price 1 bag (approximately 3 kg) 1,000 yen Location Kamogawa Yoshiho Plum Village Meeting place Miyayama Shrine 978 Miyayama, Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture Access By car From Kamogawa city, take Prefectural Route 34 towards Yasuda for about 11km National Route 410 Turn left at the intersection in front of Nagasa Junior High School Pass MUJI Minami no Sato and turn left at the T-junction Turn left at the T-junction 400m ahead Turn left at the first T-junction By bus Nitto Kotsu Nagasa Line bus from Awa-Kamogawa Station 10 minutes walk from Minami no Sato bound for Hiratsuka Hongo Notes There are no toilets or running water. The plum grove is unpaved. For your safety, we recommend gloves, long-sleeved clothing, and rain boots. Benefits As a special benefit, the experience fee, which is normally 1,000 yen, will be free for guests staying at an inn that is a member of the Kamogawa Onsen Inn Industry Cooperative Association. Please bring a flyer with the stamp of your

Kamogawa Yoshiho Plum Village Owners Club now recruiting members We have established the “Kamogawa Yoshiho Ume no Sato Owners Club” to secure funding for plum orchard management costs and product development using Kamogawa Yoshiho Ume (R) to provide safe and delicious plums to everyone, and we are recruiting owners. The Owner Club has two types of members: special members and general members. (1) Special member: You can grow one plum tree of your choice. Please make delicious plums. (Updated every 3 years) (2) General member: Has the right to harvest 20 kg of plums (or products designated by the association).
